Music Ministry

The Role and Function of the Music Ministry in The Church requires commitment, participation, and spiritual integrity. The Music Ministry is a vehicle of evangelism. As a ministry, our function is to help implement the mission of the church. The mission of the church is “Evangelism”. All that we do should be directed towards this mission. Anything that we do in the name of God should be done with order and structure. He requires that we enter into His work with diligence. Only then will our efforts be acceptable and blessed by Him. Music Ministry participants should be more than individuals who happen to be singing in the choir. Music Ministry should be a well-defined ministry with a well-defined purpose and objective. Our services rendered involves skill, sacrifice, prayer, preparation and participation. At all times, whether in practice or performance, one must keep this in mind: If a ministry for the Lord is worthy of our service, it is also worthy of our God Given Talent. To that end, may our lives be dedicated, and ministries blessed, that He alone might receive the honor and Glory…………………………whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthian 10:31
